It is hard to spend this much money on something and not know what you all think about it. But... I really wanted a square one, with a rear fan, and a 10 tray one, but the Excaliber was so expensive, and the reviews were iffy in the sound area and in the temperature control area. (I actually bought this from E-Bay, (better price and freebies too) and they have reviews, but I don't know if I can count on their review system like I can Amazon's. Anyway, I took the plunge and bought this beauty, I think that the smaller size of the holes in the trays were what made the decision for me, along with the $100+ difference in the price, and the free silicone liner sheets. One of my trays was cracked when I recieved it and they sent me out 2 new trays right away, free of charge and with just one email. At first I had it on my counter, just outside my living room and I had to move it to another room because we couldn't hear the TV over all the racket! Now it's in a small pantry where I can close the door. This is an inconvenience, but I don't know if an Excalibur model would be any quieter. I also like the fact that it comes with 3 silicone liners, that's a big plus. When I ordered mine, it didn't come with the 4-drawer blank, which is a great idea.
