When I went to activate it I was told by Verizon wireless that it was listed as lost/stolen and could not be activated. I received a refund through Amazon customer service and was able to order another phone, but lost precious time without a phone due to the fact that I could not activate the device. I will admit that it looked new (both the phone and packaging) but the reality is that I could not activate it, and therefore not use it, due to its lost/stolen status.
